Barry trained at Bird & Bird and qualified into the commercial department in September 2004.
From May 2004 to May 2005, he worked on full-time secondment as Contract Manager for VOSA on its MOT Computerisation PFI Agreement with Siemens Business Services. Since May 2005, Barry has continued to work in a legal assurance role for VOSA on a part-time basis, whilst working for other public and private sector clients the remainder of the time. He will be VOSA's MOT Computerisation representative on the DVO's planned ICT Contract Managers' Working Group - aimed at sharing experiences from the management of public sector IT contracts and producing recommendations for improving contract management and ensuring delivery of value for money.
