Bart joined Bird & Bird on 1 January 2007. His practice covers the full range of communications and IT matters as well as commercial and regulatory e-commerce, media, data protection and privacy work. Before joining the Abu Dhabi office in March 2011, Bart has undertaken a longterm secondment with the largest telecommunications company of the UAE within its Regulatory Affairs team.

In addition Bart is editor and co-author of a highly regarded legal manual on the Dutch Telecoms Act (“Tekst & Commentaar Telecommunicatiewet”).
