Graduate recruitment for September 2014
We will be recruiting 16 trainee solicitors during 2012 who will start with us in September 2014. We consider applications from a variety of backgrounds. Excellent 'A' levels and a strong 2:1 or a 1st are expected but more importantly we look for well-rounded individuals who will fit in well in our environment. The trainees we recruit are outgoing, articulate team players, willing to work hard when called upon and genuinely interested in progressing their careers. The deadline for all training contract applications is 31 July 2012.
Please note that we encourage all prospective trainee solicitors to participate in our summer placements as this is our primary means for selecting future trainees.
Application process
Please note that the application forms are reviewed on a continual basis.
The first stage will involve successful applicants being invited in for a short interview with a member of HR and a written test. These interviews will take place in May, June and July 2012.
Should you be successful following that stage you will be invited to attend one of our Insight and Selection days which will take place in August/September 2012.
Successful candidates from the Insight and Selection days will be invited to attend a panel interview.
It is important to note that the Insight and Selection days is a part of the selection process. If you are unable to attend one of the Insight and Selection days, unfortunately you will not be considered for interview.

We interview candidates according to the Law Society’s code of practice.
