The Policy is kept under continual review by our Diversity Committee. The Committee is a cross functional forum, open to all of our people, and is made up of partners, assistants and support staff. The Committee is responsible for championing diversity in all aspects of our business and continually reviews Bird & Bird’s policies and procedures to ensure they remain appropriate, contemporary and abreast of both legislative change and developments in social attitude. The Committee regularly reviews our statistics on diversity and it ensures the continual engagement of the Firm’s management.

The Committee reports directly to the Bird & Bird Executive Management Group which in turn is fully engaged and committed to diversity at the firm. The Committee also has direct involvement in our Recruitment, Human Resources and Learning & Development functions - all critical functions at Bird & Bird.
