Bird & Bird's Abu Dhabi office opened in May 2011. The Middle East is an important area for many of our clients and contacts and this has been a key factor in establishing a presence in the region. Bird & Bird's Abu Dhabi office will initially focus on the Aerospace, Defence and Security, Aviation, Communications, Energy and Utilities, Healthcare and Life Sciences and Sport sectors.
The office has five lawyers who represent a broad range of capabilities to maximise the opportunities in the region. Each lawyer is part of a wider team and is therefore able to draw on Bird & Bird's international network for support. Therefore, in conjunction with our other offices, we are able to provide the full range of legal services to our clients including banking and finance, commercial, corporate, EU and competition, dispute resolution, employment, intellectual property and real estate matters.
