Financial assistance
The firm provides financial assistance to graduates who have accepted training contracts at Bird & Bird to help while they are studying for Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course examinations.
The level of assistance is reviewed each year and currently includes payment of:
- course fees
- GDL and LPC fees
- Law Society registration fee and
- an annual maintenance grant of £5,500
Salary
We review trainee salaries each September. Trainee salaries as from September 2009 are £35,000 for first years and £37,000 for second years.
