Morten is based in our Brussels office in the EU and Competition Law Group. He is known as a commercially minded and highly astute lawyer, who is able to quickly grasp complex and technical business and legal issues.
He is well versed in helping clients use competition law to achieve specific and measurable commercial goals. With a deep knowledge of competition law built on more than 11 years experience in Brussels, he is focused on providing added value solutions to his clients.
Morten won a commendation in the Financial Times' Innovative Lawyers 2011 report for his role as a complainant in Intel's USD 7.68 billion acquisition of security software vendor McAfee. He is ranked as a leading lawyer for competition by Legal 500, Chambers Global as well as Chambers Europe.
He is on the editorial board of World Competition, Law and Economics Journal (Kluwer). Prior to joining us in 2008, Morten was a partner in McDermott Will & Emery.
