The Diversity and Inclusion Charter invites the legal profession to work with the Law Society to deliver on a shared commitment to promoting equality and diversity. It was initiated by the Society of Asian Lawyers and BT, who remain partners in the project.
This is a developing initiative which will be launched in the summer of 2009. Bird & Bird is keen to be part of this initiative to enable effective benchmarking and the identification (and dissemination) of best practice. To that effect we have been working closely with The Law Society and interested partners on the developing charter.
