Peter joined Bird & Bird in 2002. He specialises in IT law. He focuses on software development, licence and service agreements, data protection and information security as well as liability issues. He provides assistance in litigation and contract negotiation.
Peter regularly speaks at seminars and has contributed to several studies, articles and publications on IT and internet-related issues.
Peter studied law at the University of Ghent and at the University of Brussels where he also worked as a scientific researcher. He was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 1996 and is fluent in Dutch, French and English.
