Zsófia is recognised for her profound expertise in energy and utilities and real estate matters as well as for her experience and exposure in advising clients in former Yugoslavian countries.

Zsófia is the head of the Energy and Utilities and Real Estate teams in our Budapest office. She is also the head of the Serbo-Croatian desk.

She offers more than 14 years of experience in energy and utilities, real estate, construction, environmental, mergers and aquisitions and corporate matters.

Zsófia represented international and domestic clients both on the purchaser’s as well as the seller’s side.  She has significant experience from the Central and Eastern Europe region, having represented clients in relation to Hungarian, Slovenian, Croatian and Bosnian legal matters. Zsófia, among others, has advised Berwin, Brickbox, Cencorp, CEOC, E.ON, Expert Petroleum, Grünenthal, Lenovo, Portico Investment, Renovalia, Savcor Group Oy, SC Johnson and Yahoo.

Zsófia graduated from the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary as well as the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad, Yugoslavia.  In 1995 she obtained her LL.M degree from CEU – Business Law Department. She is a member of the Budapest Bar.

She speaks fluent English, Hungarian and languages of the countries of the former Yugoslavia (Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro).
