Robin leads the aviation disputes and contentious regulatory team in our London Aviation group.

All of his work is for aviation clients, principally aircraft and engine lessors and airlines. He has conducted complex domestic and international commercial litigation and arbitration for over 20 years. Robin’s work involves aircraft and engine leasing and financing disputes, repossessions, insurance coverage, technical and regulatory disputes and other disputes which arise in the aviation industry.

Robin has advised on disputes involving aircraft in many jurisdictions, including the UK, the US, Mexico, Venezuela, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Dutch Antilles, Aruba, Sudan, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Botswana, Angola, Ghana, C A R, Egypt, South Africa, France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Russia, UAE, Turkey, Iran, Libya, India, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia.

He conducts litigation at all levels of the English courts and in the major arbitration forums, including arbitrations under the English Arbitration Act 1996 and pursuant to the rules of the LCIA, UNCITRAL and ICC. He also has experience of ADR techniques, such as mediation.

Robin has spoken on aircraft repossessions at the Euromoney Air Law Conference in London and the Middle East Aviation Asset Management Conference in Dubai.
