Michal joined Bird & Bird from M. Furtek i Wspólnicy in Warsaw, where he worked on IT and Data protection projects. Prior to this Michal conducted his own business, his experience also includes working for Polish Chamber of Commerce in EU funds programmes.
Michal completed postgraduate studies at Warsaw School of Economics - Risk Management in Financial Institutions.

Michal studied law at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland (thesis: "Social security of unemployed"). In 2007 he completed course of Comparative Company Law with Law and Economics at University of Bergen, Norway (thesis: The main differences between § 6:40 RMBCA and article 15 of Second EEC company law directive as a mean to achieve protection for creditors).
