Graeme has an excellent reputation as a leading communications, information technology and outsourcing lawyer.
Graeme is a partner in the Commercial Group based in London, and is co-head of our International Communications Sector Group.
Graeme’s practice covers the full range of communications, information technology and outsourcing matters. He regularly advises on complex international outsourcing projects involving communications and technology and also business process outsourcings. He has significant domestic and international communications regulatory experience, as well as advising on undersea cable and satellite related matters. His practice also covers commercial and regulatory e-commerce, media and data protection and privacy work, particularly in relation to convergence.
Graeme’s experience is strengthened through his secondment roles with the competition policy branch of OFTEL (now part of Ofcom) and the British Telecommunications plc’s commercial legal team.
He has written and spoken widely on communications, media and technology issues, written the Communications and Broadcasting Regulation Chapter of Graham Smith’s Internet Law & Regulation (2007 edition) and co-written the chapter on “Capacity Agreements- From Microwaves to MVNOs” of Ian Walden’s Telecommunications Law (2009). He also serves on the Professional Board of the Computer Law Security Review.
