Cyril is a partner of the firm and has been practising in the area of intellectual property for more than 10 years. He has been actively involved in various aspects of the intellectual property law practice, in particular, contentious matters. He has consistently been recognised for his expertise in Intellectual Property In AsiaLaw Leading Lawyers.
He represents major clients in the printer consumable industry as well as the telecommunication industry in the management and execution of anti-piracy strategies and raids throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Cyril also regularly advises clients on software licences, data protection and trade secrets, trade mark and domain name issues. He is an ICANN Generic Name Support Organisation Council representative.
Cyril graduated from the National University of Singapore with a degree of LLB (Hons) in 1995. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1996.
Cyril serves as a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association. He has conducted many seminars on intellectual property enforcement and has appeared in Channel NewsAsia and CNBC on IP protection.
