Aviation

The UK Aviation Team has experienced considerable growth in the past 9 months, beginning with the merger with Lane and Partners in October, followed by the arrival of Field Fisher Waterhouse’s Head of Aviation, Simon Chamberlain and Associate Thea Ward in January and more recently the group has been joined by Senior Consultant Hugh Garety from Addleshaw Goddard.

Unlike a lot of UK law firms, who came to aviation work through banking or insurance, our Aviation Team is industry focussed and our lawyers have practical hands-on knowledge of the aviation sector, gained from many years of experience "in house" in airlines or other industry businesses.

The UK team has particular strength in aircraft asset management, airline commercial and operational matters, complex defence contracting, aviation regulation, aircraft insurance and leasing disputes and UK and European competition law. We work closely with our European and Asian offices to deliver seamless, cutting edge legal advice to a wide range of clients within the aviation and aerospace sector.
